As a children’s portrait photographer it’s always satisfying to photograph busy mums that don’t always have the time to stop and enjoy the moment with their kids. Louise was very kindly bought a voucher for a photography session for this very reason. We waiting a while for Joseph’s teeth to fill in (which was remarkably quick). Grace and Joseph were full of beans and keen to get to the park. However, I spotted that Grace had the most amazing set of lashes!! Lucky girl………Kate Moss look out! Happy Belated Mother’s day. Here are some of my favourites. x

Bedtime was my favourite time of day when my kids were little. Not just because it meant I had time to myself but I found it such a special intimate time of day. Therefore I was delighted to be asked to photograph Grace as she shared her bedtime routine with me. We did the usual stuff, teatime, story time, bath time, tantrums and finally bedtime! I love it when they nod off to sleep. It almost makes you want to wake them up and start it all over again. Well ……maybe not. Not once you pour that first deserved glass of wine! Looking forward to showing you the book and seeing you soon. x

Barr Family

I was very honoured to be asked to photograph Mia and H as they are regularly stopped in the streets and asked to be models. Well, you can see why…….Gorgeous with a capital G.

H for Harry reminded me of a cool surfer with his long locks and Mia was just the perfect model and wearing my favourite colour………Pink! The dog enjoyed being centre of attention and joined us on the beautiful white bed. Fortunately no muddy paws. It was raining outside and normally that doesn’t stop me from getting out but it was torrential so we stayed indoors. I’m looking froward to our next photo session and capturing the kids in the garden. Oh, and can’t wait to meet the pony.

Easter Party

This is going to be the longest set of blog photos, as I just have so many favourites. Helen and Grace were having another one of their fabulous parties. This one was Easter and the chocolate and champagne were flowing. The kids were in heaven because the more the parents drank the more chocolate they could eat! Fabulous to watch. It felt like a balmy summers day ….perfect. However, it all was too much for Grace and she fell asleep in her mum’s arms just as the last guest was leaving…….me. I have thoroughly enjoyed putting the book together. Thank you Helen , already looking forward to the next one.x

Scarlett

I went back to do a little “top up” photo session with Claire and Scarlett just before Christmas. Its great to see clients taking advantage of my “top up” sessions. (paying for one photo session that lasts a year………. especially important in the first year of your babies life ). Very important if you want to make up that book at the end of the year. Contact me for more details. Anyway it happened to be Scarlett’s bath time when I went back to visit them. I love those bath shots and the cuddly warm towels afterwards. Looking forward to the next session . Glad the Christmas presents went down well. x

Hector and Florence

I always look forward to photographing this lovely family. I am delighted to say that they have expanded. However it looks like Hector is the final gorgeous addition to the family. The icing on the cake! A beautiful bonnie boy. Florence loves dressing up in her princess dresses and is very loving to her baby brother. Lots going on in this family but its all good stuff……..enjoy the moment. x

What a happy chappy Logan is. You just have to look at him and he smiles. ( He has an infectious giggle too). Consequently a real delight to photograph as we just had lots of fun pulling faces, tickling and playing hide and seek with the muslin. Almost forgot about taking the photographs. Ros, Lee and family

One miracle is a blessing but two is just freaky! Jack Oliver ( love the name ) is the new addition to this very gorgeous family. I was invited back to photograph the family at home to celebrate the occasion. Love the girls in their fairy costumes. I hope Eloise will now see a fairer proportion of photos on the walls! She doesn’t seem to miss a trick. It felt like Deja vu when Lee got out his favourite Nike T-shirt. However my absolute favourite is the one of Maddy and Eloise tucking into their food on the sofa in their fairy outfits! Look at the concentration on their little faces.Ahhhhhhhh …they know what’s what! Have a fabulous, no doubt busy Xmas. xxxxx

Jade and Family

This was a lovely shoot in one of my favourite parks in Cheltenham. It was especially lovely as there was a covering of snow. Unfortunately Tristan was not on form that day but he put in good appearance and actually I love those cuddly shots when they are just a little bit more needy. Looking forward to doing more in the new year. After our trip to the park we soon warmed up in the bedroom with hot tea and biscuits. Have got far too many to show………have to narrow it down. These are my final favs x
