George and Freddie

Last time I met Freddie and George it was at their Aunties wedding last summer. This time I had them all to myself. We started off at home the boys enjoyed putting a fire engine together, which was cleverly left over from Christmas. I was amazed how easily they managed to put it together. Then we headed off to Granma’s house, which is like a second home to them. They had great fun feeding the cows. It was bitterly cold so we came inside to raid Granma’s biscuit/chocolate tin! Fab…..x

Christmas Eve with Grace

Its always a pleasure to photograph Grace and Helen. Christmas eve seemed a perfect time to reflect on the year and celebrate christmas together. Grace was in fine form and showed her determined side when putting on another one of her many hats! She was allowed to do things that are normally forbidden, like pressing the buttons on the dvd machine and dismantling the xmas tree! Well it was xmas anyway! As it was a white xmas it seemed a good opportunity to buy red wellies and introduce her to the snow. Grace was not impressed……….but we were!

My first blog of 2011

Well we are well into the new year and I just wanted to say a belated happy new year to all my clients and blog watchers. 2010 was a great year for me and my photography business and I am very excited about 2011. I have just spent 3 days at the SWPP convention in London and have got lots of new ideas and tips to put into use. I rarely include photos of my as I never seem to have the time to photograph them.! These are just a few snaps taken on Xmas day as we went sledging in Miserden before the big meal. Yes I do mean snaps…..no professional camera, just a little snapper so that I don’t get my photography head on can concentrate on having fun with the !! Looking forward to meeting old and new clients this year. xxxxxx

my lovely hubby

Jade and Family

This was a lovely shoot in one of my favourite parks in Cheltenham. It was especially lovely as there was a covering of snow. Unfortunately Tristan was not on form that day but he put in good appearance and actually I love those cuddly shots when they are just a little bit more needy. Looking forward to doing more in the new year. After our trip to the park we soon warmed up in the bedroom with hot tea and biscuits. Have got far too many to show………have to narrow it down. These are my final favs x

Hayes Family

Just before the snow hit, I took a trip to the Hayes for a photo shoot. After taking some photos inside with Jacob and Zoe all snuggled up in their jammies we braved the out doors. We went on one of their usual in the wood with the very energetic dog. We looked for the fairies in the woods, who very cleverly left a trail of golden, chocolate coins! Back inside  Zoe entertained us with her amazing dancing. Very creative. I love this stage of putting on the shows. I have so many favourites but here are just a few. Happy Xmas.x

Ethan Christmas Eve

So this was supposed to be a Pregnancy Bump photo shoot but Ethan decided to join the world a little earlier. He must have been excited about Xmas! I do enjoy photographing babies when they are just a few weeks old. It such a magical time, especially when it is your first. You can almost see them growing they grow so fast. That is why I like to capture their vulnerability. I really like the one of Peter, Amilie and Ethan on the bed. Its very ‘Hello Magazine’ but who cares if you look gorgeous!. Looking forward  to seeing you all again in the summer and meeting more of the . Here are some of my favourites…….

Max and Eloise

I love, love, love the snow! Fortunately so do my clients …..especially the kids. So I was delighted when this photo shoot wasn’t cancelled due to the weather. We were spoilt as we had virgin snow in the garden to play in. The dog was in her element too! After a while Eloise had had her fill of the cold so we went indoors to play hide and seek. She has beautiful blue eyes that I had to capture. I also love the one of Max starring out of the window after a morning of fun in the snow. Bring on more snow…….I love it!

Lisa and Boys

Well in complete contrast to my last blog these boys could not be contained inside for long. After a few shots inside we released them into the garden, where they were happiest running and rolling around in the mud. I loved it because they were in their element. Sorry about the washing though. I do love the complete contrast to clean Angelic looking boys at the beginning of the shoot compared to the end. Lets hope we can get Dad involved next time? The Cochran Family

The great thing about my job is that I get to see my clients again and again. Then it is like seeing old friends again rather than clients. This is one of those families. I have been photographing them on a regular basis and it is lovely to see the kids growing and seeing their characters develop. This time we ventured out to the park, although it was a little cold the boys didn’t seem to mind. Looking froward to seeing you all again soon. x Here are some of my favourites…..cochraine 16cochraine 20cochraine 17cochraine 02cochraine 19cochraine 28cochraine 24cochraine 32cochraine 31cochraine 26

Happy New Year

Ok so I know I am very behind with my blogs. Sorry to those of you that are waiting to see what I write about your little darlings! Soon I promise. However, today was my official day back at work as as the kids went back to school and husband was packed off to work. So the fun is over! I have loved this last week of snow. Its been like an extended holiday. I have been a bore and taken (only a little camera ) out on our sledging trips. I thoroughly recommend Chedworth for sledging and The Seven Tuns for open fires. Heaven . I have to share some of my snaps. Happy New Year to all my clients and friends.xxxxxxxwinter 2 I have a good feeling aboout 2010!winter 3winter 9winter 4winter 8winter 6winter 5winter 1winter 7
