Mr and Mrs Tierney

Firstly I must apologize for the lack of blogs but I am on holiday until mid August. Back in the land of paprika, hot spas, salami and best of all lake Balaton.  Despite this I did manage to pop back and photograph Fiona and Richard’s delightful wedding. It was a very happy and relaxed day ( most chilled out wedding I have ever photographed ). The children stole the show with their readings, witty speeches and  musical performances. I am looking forward to showing you all the photos but here are a few to keep you going. A few more than usual, as I feel guilty that I am on holiday! Hope you had a great break away.

Fiona and Richard

I was delighted to be asked to photograph Fiona and Richard’s wedding this July. They thought they wouldn’t be doing the ‘wedding thing’ again but you all know my moto……Never say Never! I am so looking forward to it as the children will be very much apart of the special occasion. I went to meet all the family at their home in Wilersey. The girls were very natural and very gorgeous! I love the one of Georgina and the her cat. I’ve put far too many on the blog but i just can’t choose. The happy couple!

Jane and Daryl’s wedding

Oh I do love a wedding……….best day of your life.  Much better than childbirth!  This was a fantastic venue . Walcot Hall in Lydbury, North Shropshire. A beautiful stately home with a very friendly, warm, relaxed feel. I loved the chickens running around the front of the house. I have photographed Jane before as a bridesmaid so it was a pleasure to photograph her as the bride. What a beautiful bride she was too. I love making people feel relaxed and taking the really natural ones. I always think they are the best!  There was lots of laughter at this wedding . I had a great day I hope you can tell!

Jemma and Paul’s wedding

On the theme of weddings, I was assisting Huelwen at Jemma and Paul’s wedding in Newport. Well I have to say I loved the role of second photographer (much less stressful! ). I was able to people watch and catch lovely moments like the two girls playing in Jemma’s veil. It was a sunny day and the setting was gorgeous. The house was very grand and led to some atmospheric shots. I managed to get a sneaky shot of Bride and Groom having a quiet moment by the window (or so they thought!). Love it! Kelly and Ollie

Well what a fantastic day and what a beautiful bride! I really enjoyed helping Kelly get ready for her big day and calming her nerves. There was a spectacular fly by, by the Red Arrows. Prompt and Fast! Our cameras were ready ( well done Huelwen ). The setting was amazing and the weather was perfect. Ollie managed to open the champagne with his sword. Not something I would recommend you try at home. The day ended with 100 lanterns released into the night sky. Perfect! Kelly your photo is being framed as I write…………..I have so many favourites but here are just a few.kelly-ollie-wed-05kelly-ollie-wed-04kelly-ollie-wed-29kelly-ollie-wed-21kelly-ollie-wed-42kelly-ollie-wed-51kelly-ollie-05kelly-ollie-12kelly-ollie-57kelly-ollie-76kelly-ollie-27kelly-ollie-101

Kelly and Ollie pre wedding shoot

I am so excited about this wedding!!! Its a photographers dream……devilishly good looking couple, full military uniform, beautiful church and  set in a stunning Cotswold village, at home. I love it when weddings are at home. It just seems so perfect! Despite the small detail of a missing eyebrow. Ollie ….I hope its growing back. I spent a lovely morning with Kelly and Ollie and their much loved pets chatting about their big day. Here are a few of my favourites……kelly-09kelly-05kelly-12kelly-08kelly-07kelly-10jacki-book-27
