Baby Photography Gloucestershire and London

Ahhhh, there is nothing quite like it when your baby starts to smile at you. They think you are the best thing in the world and for that brief moment you probably are ! As a in gloucestershire and mother of three I now how precious those moments are. For that reason I love this first shot. This session was one of my mini shoots that I offered at the Baby Show. One hours photo session at my home studio with 10 photos and a mini book for £295. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.

Last year I photographed the of Scarlett Griffin. I haven’t posted any of their photo shoots on my blog as I know they were to be kept a surprise for Christmas. Well, now Christmas is over and done with I can finally share some of the photos. Its quite amazing for me as I am useless at keeping secrets. Scarlett looked a peach in her gorgeous dress as did her Mum! The afternoon was spent at Ellenborough park where the kids were fully entertained with Punch and Judy and a bouncy castle. As a children’s photographer this was the perfect setting as I could snap away to my heart’s content. More to follow…………

It was a pleasure to go back and meet this again just before Christmas.  Archie was fascinated with the Christmas tree but thought it was a good idea to eat the baubles! He also loved the cat and its tail. Which kept me on my toes crawling around after them. I followed him into the bathroom, as his other favourite pass time is simply flushing the loo! Love this first shot of him as he looks quite serious and almost Victorian! As a one of the best things about my job is going back to see families and catching up with their lives. Shared a great sense of humour with this family. Enjoy your photos.x

It was Bella’s first birthday at the very swanky in . A fabulous venue for a children’s as there is lots of space for the toddlers to run around. The staff were very pleasant and the nibbles were perfect. Bella looked very gorgeous in her spotted dress which complimented the ladybird theme. We couldn’t loose her as she squeaked her way around the restaurant (squeaky shoes) much to her delight. Happy Birthday Bella. xx

I adore as there are so many different stages and moments to capture especially in the first year. This was the second (and a half) time I have photographed this beautiful boy Orlando. He is blessed with beautiful skin and very dark hair. This time I got to spend more time with daddy. As he was the chief rocker in order to get Orlando off to sleep I couldn’t resist the jeans shot with the tiny feet poking out. All done with natural light and in the comfort of your own home! After we dressed him up in his gown for a few shots we introduced him to the mirrors. I love the shot of them in the mirror very natural and unaware of the camera. Orlando was a pleasure to photograph. The dog was very well behaved too!

I went to photograph Madison’s joint 6th birthday a few weeks ago. The boys were a little outnumbered by lots of girls in princess dresses and tiaras. However, it didn’t stop them from joining in on the dance floor. As a portrait photographer I love to watch how the kids interact. Madison was having a fabulous time and danced her socks off. She was very keen to be chosen in the funny face and best dancer competition so she placed herself right under the judge’s nose. Excellent……worked a treat! My portrait photography is all about the light and this did push my skills to the limit as the curtains were closed but I loved the effect of the disco lights. Happy Birthday Madison. x

November 29, 2011 - 9:54 pm Kerry - Wow - these photos brought a tear to my eye! Stunning photography. Madison is adorable Marcus & Rachel. Kerry x

November 29, 2011 - 9:27 pm Libby marchant - very beautiful pictures. I second marcus's opinions. I must see if I can get over to see the rest. x

November 29, 2011 - 2:46 pm Marcus - Amazing photos as ever sis - thank you so much for them! I love the effects the disco lights achieve - sheer brilliance! :-) You always seem to capture Madison's naturally beautiful smile like i can never do - your eye is second to none. Thank you so much xx

November 29, 2011 - 1:09 pm Rachel Eperjesi - Love them, love them, love them, as always. Thank you so much. I know my kids are gorgeous, but you always manage to capture that in them so well. Can thoroughly recommend Laura, and such a lovely way to keep a record of the birthdays - they go by so fast.

I have been looking forward to blogging this ( although father was poorly in bed!) as The Leighton girls have a soft spot for these gorgeous boys. We started off playing one of their favourite games……’going on holiday’. One of my favourites too!! We went to some quite exotic places. Loved being allowed to play racing cars in the big room, fab backdrop for my photographers eyes. We headed outside and used up lots of that boyish energy on the trampoline, swing and skateboarding. Ollie seems to have no fear of speed! Nice to see the cat got lots of attention, in a gentle way. Have got loads of favourites but here are just a few.

What do you do when you have planned an elaborate birthday for your 2 year old daughter and she gets s severe case of chicken pox? Answer, nothing! Just inform the guests and re name it a pox ! Despite having the remains of chicken pox Grace had a fabulous time. Helen’s parties seem to be getting more and more elaborate and doubling in size. She is always blessed with the weather and everyone has a fab time. Especially me. I am in photography heaven. Its amazing as a host how busy you are at your own and my job is to go around catching all the moments. 2 weeks later we relive the in a slideshow. Its amazing how much you miss when you are the hostess of the mostess! I shall enjoy putting the book together. x

I went to meet the Sansum a few weeks ago at their home  . They are very lucky to be right next to a beautiful stretch of the canal, which served as a great backdrop. The boys were just about to go off to University and therefore we took some shots to mark the occasion.  Lovely polite, handsome boys …what more can you ask for? Hope all goes well at University.  Maybe a little modelling on the side to help pay for those fees? Really enjoying meeting you all. Hope you like photos there are many more but these are just some of my favourites.
