Barr Family

I was very honoured to be asked to photograph Mia and H as they are regularly stopped in the streets and asked to be models. Well, you can see why…….Gorgeous with a capital G.

H for Harry reminded me of a cool surfer with his long locks and Mia was just the perfect model and wearing my favourite colour………Pink!  The dog enjoyed being centre of attention and joined us on the beautiful white bed. Fortunately no muddy paws. It was raining outside and normally that doesn’t stop me from getting out but it was torrential so we stayed  indoors. I’m looking froward to our next photo session and capturing the kids in the garden. Oh, and can’t wait to meet the pony.

Enjoy some of my favs…..x

Meally and William

It was a pleasure to meet up with Meally and William at home . They live in one of my favourite Cotswold villages. Perfect for dog and the best Pub! William was just the smiliest , therefore a dream to photograph. He loved his bath therefore didn’t object to an early one! Looking forward to meeting Daddy next time! Here are some of my favourites………x (more…)

Archie

I am always fascinated with how many expressions newborn babies can pull. Whether asleep or awake. Archie was a delight to photograph, as were his parents and George the cat, who had to be in the photo as he was the first !  This has to be my favourite photo as I know how difficult it is to get babies, and parents all together and looking  . I love the sleeping shots of Archie too. They are so cute when they are asleep. Couldn’t resist the blackberry shot. Men multi tasking??

Hayes Family

Just before the snow hit, I took a trip to the Hayes for a photo shoot. After taking some photos inside with Jacob and Zoe all snuggled up in their jammies we braved the out doors. We went on one of their usual in the wood with the very energetic dog. We looked for the fairies in the woods, who very cleverly left a trail of golden, chocolate coins! Back inside  Zoe entertained us with her amazing dancing. Very creative. I love this stage of putting on the shows. I have so many favourites but here are just a few. Happy Xmas.x

Ali and Family

Ahhhhh ……..it’s that time of year when you realise your are no longer and they are packing themselves off to university. Well just before Will took himself off I went to the Humphrie’s home to mark the occasion. We did lots of shots in the garden including the very hairy rabbit, Thumper and Archie the Dog. I then took the off for a walk with the dog. I love the colour photo of Jen, she looks stunning. I only wish she new it too! The chemistry between brother and sister was a delight  to capture. You are very lucky………..it’s not always like that.

Fiona and Richard

I was delighted to be asked to photograph Fiona and Richard’s wedding this July. They thought they wouldn’t be doing the ‘wedding thing’ again but you all know my moto……Never say Never! I am so looking forward to it as the will be very much apart of the special occasion. I went to meet all the at their home in Wilersey. The girls were very and very gorgeous! I love the one of Georgina and the her cat. I’ve put far too many on the blog but i just can’t choose. The happy couple!

The Thompson Family

I was delighted to be asked back to photograph the Thompson , as they have a new addition to the ………..Laura! This time we spent time at home just chilling out. I love the shot of Toby washing his car. (Although it looked pretty clean to me) . They say you should never work with and animals and I do both. So it was great to get Roly the dog involved as he is of course a very important part of the . Toby enjoyed playing with his train set and reading his favourite books. I love the concentration on his face. Laura’s bedroom was pure and pretty and we couldn’t resist putting her in her towelling robe. She looked just ready for the spa….. darling!

June 21, 2010 - 12:38 pm Laura - Sarah, you'll be pleased to know you are not the only customer that has happy tears! x

June 20, 2010 - 8:45 pm Sarah Thompson - Yet another huge thankyou to you (Laura) for coming to our home and taking such wonderful photos of our growing family, you really are so talented at capturing the children and the roly woof - woof ! - these photos will always give us so much pleasure and happy tears xx

Max and Eloise

I love, love, love the snow! Fortunately so do my clients …..especially the kids. So I was delighted when this photo shoot wasn’t cancelled due to the weather. We were spoilt as we had virgin snow in the garden to play in. The dog was in her element too! After a while Eloise had had her fill of the cold so we went indoors to play hide and seek. She has beautiful blue eyes that I had to capture. I also love the one of Max starring out of the window after a morning of fun in the snow. Bring on more snow…….I love it!

Lani and Lou

What a special day this was. Claire and Barry  (who make the most fantastic parents), celebrated the much deserved adoption of their two beautiful girls Lani and Lulu. After the ceremony we went back to their home to celebrate with a fabulous spread, plenty of champagne and cake. The girls were in their element surrounded by lots of loving friends and . Claire made the most wonderful speech. I found it hard to focus as my eyes were welling up!  A very special day to remember……..and… yes dreams really can come true.

Well done . .xxxa claire j certificatesa claire 18claire 04

The Beynon Family

The Beynon asked me to photograph their at their beautiful country home in a very pretty Cotswold village. The house was due to be sold and it was and end of an era. It’s always sad to move from a well loved home that you’ve lived in for so long. However, change can be a good thing! Guy and Conrad were two of the kindest most polite boys that I have met. They obviously adored their little sister Livy. I love the contrast of rugby playing boys and the gentleness they showed towards their sister. Glad the dog managed to make it the photoshoot. It wouldn’t have been the same without him!
