Barr Family

I was very honoured to be asked to photograph Mia and H as they are regularly stopped in the streets and asked to be models. Well, you can see why…….Gorgeous with a capital G.

H for Harry reminded me of a cool surfer with his long locks and Mia was just the perfect model and wearing my favourite colour………Pink!  The dog enjoyed being centre of attention and joined us on the beautiful white bed. Fortunately no muddy paws. It was raining outside and normally that doesn’t stop me from getting out but it was torrential so we stayed  indoors. I’m looking froward to our next photo session and capturing the kids in the garden. Oh, and can’t wait to meet the pony.

Enjoy some of my favs…..x

Rea Family

Firstly I feel the need to apologise for the lack of blogs. No excuses just very busy at the moment!

When I  went to photograph the Rea it was nice to see George and Henry’s hand and foot casts proudly placed on the wall. Its always lovely to see my clients growing up. I was delighted to capture them with photography too. George was not shy at all and loved talking about trains, books rockets and Buzzlightyear. I was very impressed with his tidy bedroom, although not for long after we had finished in it. Henry seemed to adore his brother and want to follow him around. I’m sure he’ll be walking soon. Until then enjoy that lovely, cuddly stage for as long as you can! Looking forward to the next session and putting your book together. Here are some of my favourites.x

Orlando

I went to photograph Orlando at their beautiful home in the Cotswolds. Despite the builders/decorators being in I found some beautiful light and lovely windows as backdrops. Orlando behaved beautifully and slept in the most amazing crib…..pure and white. I loved his skin….lucky , lucky  mum! Lots of favourites but here are a few…….

Christa and Family

I was invited to a local charity dinner/event to help raise money for the Kambia Appeal. I was so inspired and humbled by the amazing work that this charity does that I wanted to donate a photo shoot to contribute.  Have a look at www.kambia.org.uk  Here are a few photos from the winners of the prize. I think it was the quickest shoot I have ever done as we had the smallest window of opportunity. I thought life was supposed when to get quieter your leave home!

Easter Party

This is going to be the longest set of blog photos, as I just have so many favourites. Helen and Grace were having another one of their fabulous parties. This one was Easter and the chocolate and champagne were flowing. The kids were in heaven because the more the parents drank the more chocolate they could eat! Fabulous to watch. It felt like a balmy summers day ….perfect. However, it all was too much for Grace and she fell asleep in her mum’s arms just as the last guest was leaving…….me. I have thoroughly enjoyed putting the book together. Thank you Helen , already looking forward to the next one.x

Jelena’s Birthday

These photos are well overdue……….thank you for being so patient. However, I am delighted with the results so hopefully well worth waiting for! I have so many favourites these are just a sneek preview. Enjoy………and Happy .xx

May 17, 2011 - 7:28 pm jelena - I love the photos, thank you so much, this was the best birthday present ever ;-)))

The Crabb family

Firstly I feel the need to apologise for the lack of blogs………no excuses just too much holidaying and hard to get back into the swing of things! However I did meet up with the Laura and the at home a few weeks ago. Joseph is the new addition to the and growing quickly so we had to capture him whilst he is still considered to be small! Getting in the garden was not a problem as we have had such lovely weather lately. Annabelle loved her swing, bubbles and playing with daddy. It was a pleasure spend the morning with you. My favourite is this first one of Anabelle…….a little stunner! x

Olivia and Ben

I went to meet Olivia and Ben at their home. Mum claims that they are quite shy but I didn’t see any evidence of that. They were simply delightful and very polite! After doing some shots inside we headed off to the tennis courts where Olivia and Ben just came alive! I was amazed at how good at tennis they were. I had to dodge the balls a little as they were coming fast and furious. Great fun was had by all. Here are a few of my favourites. x

George and Freddie

Last time I met Freddie and George it was at their Aunties wedding last summer. This time I had them all to myself. We started off at home the enjoyed putting a fire engine together, which was cleverly left over from Christmas. I was amazed how easily they managed to put it together. Then we headed off to Granma’s house, which is like a second home to them. They had great fun feeding the cows. It was bitterly cold so we came inside to raid Granma’s biscuit/chocolate tin! Fab…..x

April 8, 2011 - 4:01 pm Alice Brown - I'm such a proud Aunty! These are gorgeous! x

March 14, 2011 - 6:21 pm Heulwen Rees - very cute!

Archie

I am always fascinated with how many expressions babies can pull. Whether asleep or awake. Archie was a delight to photograph, as were his parents and George the cat, who had to be in the photo as he was the first !  This has to be my favourite photo as I know how difficult it is to get babies, and parents all together and looking  . I love the sleeping shots of Archie too. They are so cute when they are asleep. Couldn’t resist the blackberry shot. Men multi tasking??
