Bedtime was my favourite time of day when my kids were little. Not just because it meant I had time to myself but I found it such a special intimate time of day. Therefore I was delighted to be asked to photograph Grace as she shared her bedtime routine with me. We did the usual stuff, teatime, story time, bath time, tantrums and finally bedtime! I love it when they nod off to sleep. It almost makes you want to wake them up and start it all over again. Well ……maybe not. Not once you pour that first deserved glass of wine! Looking forward to showing you the book and seeing you soon. x

Rea Family

Firstly I feel the need to apologise for the lack of blogs. No excuses just very busy at the moment!

When I went to photograph the Rea family it was nice to see George and Henry’s hand and foot casts proudly placed on the wall. Its always lovely to see my clients growing up. I was delighted to capture them with photography too. George was not shy at all and loved talking about trains, books rockets and Buzzlightyear. I was very impressed with his tidy bedroom, although not for long after we had finished in it. Henry seemed to adore his brother and want to follow him around. I’m sure he’ll be walking soon. Until then enjoy that lovely,cuddly baby stage for as long as you can! Looking forward to the next session and putting your book together. Here are some of my favourites.x

Orlando

I went to photograph baby Orlando at their beautiful family home in the Cotswolds. Despite the builders/decorators being in I found some beautiful light and lovely windows as backdrops. Orlando behaved beautifully and slept in the most amazing crib…..pure and white. I loved his skin….lucky boy, lucky mum! Lots of favourites but here are a few…….

Meally and William

It was a pleasure to meet up with Meally and William at home . They live in one of my favourite Cotswold villages. Perfect for dog walks and the best Pub! William was just the smiliest baby , therefore a dream to photograph. He loved his bath therefore didn’t object to an early one! Looking forward to meeting Daddy next time! Easter Party

This is going to be the longest set of blog photos, as I just have so many favourites. Helen and Grace were having another one of their fabulous parties. This one was Easter and the chocolate and champagne were flowing. The kids were in heaven because the more the parents drank the more chocolate they could eat! Fabulous to watch. It felt like a balmy summers day ….perfect. However, it all was too much for Grace and she fell asleep in her mum’s arms just as the last guest was leaving…….me. I have thoroughly enjoyed putting the book together. Thank you Helen , already looking forward to the next one.x

The Crabb family

Firstly I feel the need to apologise for the lack of blogs………no excuses just too much holidaying and hard to get back into the swing of things! However I did meet up with the Laura and the family at home a few weeks ago. Joseph is the new addition to the family and growing quickly so we had to capture him whilst he is still considered to be small! Getting in the garden was not a problem as we have had such lovely weather lately. Annabelle loved her swing, bubbles and playing with daddy. It was a pleasure spend the morning with you. My favourite is this first one of Anabelle…….a little stunner! x

Archie

I am always fascinated with how many expressions newborn babies can pull. Whether asleep or awake. Archie was a delight to photograph, as were his parents and George the cat, who had to be in the family photo as he was the first baby! This has to be my favourite photo as I know how difficult it is to get babies, pets and parents all together and looking natural. I love the sleeping shots of Archie too. They are so cute when they are asleep. Couldn’t resist the blackberry shot. Men multi tasking??

Tristan

You will never be as young and beautiful as you are today! Therefore when I went back to photograph Tristan (as he was a little under the weather before xmas) we managed to get some beautiful shots of Jade. Lovely skin……..I’m jealous! The beautiful skin seems to run throughout the family. Tristan was in great form and seemed to enjoy climbing into the bath. Very strong!

Scarlett

I went back to do a little “top up” photo session with Claire and Scarlett just before Christmas. Its great to see clients taking advantage of my “top up” sessions. (paying for one photo session that lasts a year………. especially important in the first year of your babies life ). Very important if you want to make up that book at the end of the year. Contact me for more details. Anyway it happened to be Scarlett’s bath time when I went back to visit them. I love those bath shots and the cuddly warm towels afterwards. Looking forward to the next session . Glad the Christmas presents went down well. x

Hector and Florence

I always look forward to photographing this lovely family. I am delighted to say that they have expanded. However it looks like Hector is the final gorgeous addition to the family. The icing on the cake! A beautiful bonnie boy. Florence loves dressing up in her princess dresses and is very loving to her baby brother. Lots going on in this family but its all good stuff……..enjoy the moment. x
