Ethan Christmas Eve

So this was supposed to be a Pregnancy Bump photo shoot but Ethan decided to join the world a little earlier. He must have been excited about Xmas! I do enjoy photographing babies when they are just a few weeks old. It such a magical time, especially when it is your first. You can almost see them growing they grow so fast. That is why I like to capture their vulnerability. I really like the one of Peter, Amilie and Ethan on the bed. Its very ‘Hello Magazine’ but who cares if you look gorgeous!. Looking forward  to seeing you all again in the summer and meeting more of the family. Here are some of my favourites…….

Max and Eloise

I love, love, love the snow! Fortunately so do my clients …..especially the kids. So I was delighted when this photo shoot wasn’t cancelled due to the weather. We were spoilt as we had virgin snow in the garden to play in. The dog was in her element too! After a while Eloise had had her fill of the cold so we went indoors to play hide and seek. She has beautiful blue eyes that I had to capture. I also love the one of Max starring out of the window after a morning of fun in the snow. Bring on more snow…….I love it!

The Harrison Family

It is lovely when the family get together. Usually happens around Christmas and then not everyone can make it on the same day. I went to take some photos at Emma’s house with an array of grandchildren, uncles, aunties and most important grandparents. I personally love the one of Steven as he was a reluctant smiler! Just a few days before christmas they were celebrating a 60th birthday and I popped back to catch the rest of the family to make it complete. Perfect!

Bump and Babe

Rina was at the blooming stage of her pregnancy when I was asked to photograph her at home with her family. This is where I got to meet Max who loved playing with his cars. I spotted a beautiful painting at the top of the stairs, which apparently Max thinks is Mummy. Gorgeous! Max wasn’t too interested in mummy’s tummy unless he could use it for driving his car up. I love the shot of Max in the kitchen asking for more food. Very Oliver . Baby Jonas arrived on time (as planned) and I came back to photograph the new addition to the family. He is a beautiful baby with the most amazing skin. I was very impressed that he could drink from a cup at just a few weeks old. We’ll have him drinking pints in no time!

The Flint family

I went to visit the Flint family at their home before Christmas. After we did a quick family shot on the sofa the kids took me to their bedrooms. Where they were temporarily allowed to jump on mum and dads bed! It was obvious that Olivia, William and Edward got on really well together. Olivia had a very caring nature which showed when she interacted with her brothers. She also has beautiful English rose colouring that I tried to capture.  William loves to be read too, so I love the shot of him looking dreamily into space. Unfortunately rain stopped play outside but we had plenty to do inside. I have too many favourites but I am starting with my all time favourite. I just love it!

Lisa and Boys

Well in complete contrast to my last blog these boys could not be contained inside for long. After a few shots inside we released them into the garden, where they were happiest running and rolling around in the mud. I loved it because they were in their element. Sorry about the washing though. I do love the complete contrast to clean Angelic looking boys at the beginning of the shoot compared to the end. Lets hope we can get Dad involved next time?
